Turkish Empanadas / Pogaca recipe

These empanadas can also be made with leftover chicken – great use for those times when you have leftover roasted chicken. They can also be made with ground turkey, but you will need to increase the cooking time for the filling if you use raw ground turkey. This amazing recipe I founded at Mommiez’s Blog

  • Extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 cup
  • Melted butter, 1/2 cup
  • Whole milk yogurt, plain, 1/2 cup
  • Egg, 1 whole
  • Vinegar, 1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder, 1 teaspoon
  • All purpose flour, 2-2.5 cups
